Hope all you gals had a good Thanksgiving, we enjoyed the day with our girls and their families (most of them anyway) We have one granddaughter, her hubby and two great grands that live in Anchorage, AK - but we did get to skype with them :) |

| Marilyn - today we took an adventure to the post office (we got snow last night, so we have been cautious about the roads) and received a package from you. What an incredible surprise. As I started taking items out of the box, the kids got excited saying we get to decorate the house now for Christmas and do Christmas crafts. What a joy! Sammi (my 7 yo) exclaimed that my Farm Sisters are awesome <3 She is so right! Thank you for uplifting our spirits!!! We are blessed... so very very blessed! |

| Shannon, I believe the box did just what God and I intended. Reading your posts, about the delay of your things broke my heart. I cannot imagine what it is like to be inside with little ones and no crafting materials. So as I was making my tags for the tag swap, I began to gather and stuff The box. When I was about 12, we spent Christmas with my grandmother. She did not do Christmas, but allowed us to cut a small cedar tree, use tinfoil to make a star, old colorful magazine pages to cut and glue on cardboard for ornaments, and she even helped us pop her home grown popcorn in her old fireplace popper and provided needles and thread for stringing it. My younger sister, brother and I were very busy, getting our tree ready. I hope you and the kids have fun and some glue. Merry Christmas. |

Linda - the military is indeed moving our stuff, which explains why there is no recourse! As of right now they are still saying the 10th, so we are hopeful! But we didn't know they were changing the dates before until it was about that date. Ohhhhh the military ;)
Marilyn - you have blessed us immensely!!!! We actually do have glue, as the military would not move it :) Silly people moved so much, yet not glue!?!? I won't ever understand why on their part, but God obviously has His reasons <3 I believe I saw where you asked if we have grandparents nearby (was that you or someone else?) Anyways - no. My brother lives a couple hours away with his family, but the rest of our families live in Maryland. We had debated living close to family, but this is where God led us. We are just waiting to see what His plans for our lives out here are! Your memories of that Christmas with your Grandmother obviously were special... I pray that I can make this one as memorable for my children as she did for you - with your help <3 |

marilyn , you idea box just speaks to the real meaning of Christmas giving. What a perfect idea for the children and I bet they have been so busy making decorations.
Shannon, I do hope your belongings arrive soon and that everyone can get and stay well. There have been so many changes for everyone and hopefully soon you all can really rest up set down roots. It must be beautiful to watch the sky out there in Wyoming this time of year. I would guess there are some stunning sunrises and sunsets.
