Ladies I didn't know where to put this but I wanted you to know what an amazing experience I had visiting the Chickens in the Road author Suzanne McMinn in West Virginia. I am ever so grateful for the book suggestion. I attended, back in August, one of her retreat weekends. I went with two girlfriends. How exciting and I will definitely go again. On her website she offers different weekends. I attended the canning and preserving weekend and then she did an additional soap making class for us. We did body lotion and lip balm and bath scrubs as well. I actually toured the house and met the "new man" no longer 52. That is me standing exactly where she stood for the book cover. I think it was the cover of the hardback. She is exactly like I thought very open and honest. It was just fascinating. I could go on and on. Hugs, Maryellen |
