Oh, Linda. So glad you're ok. Hope you are doing better. I can relate. I fell down my slippery steps a few years ago. Had a huge bruise and couldn't sit very well for awhile. It sure is surprising how quickly it happens.

The last couple of days it was 60 and sunny. Here are pictures of today.

Oh my Brenda!

We are having my definition of March today. 45 mph winds with gusts to 60 and rain, rain and more rain. This will be all weekend I think. Not sure about Sunday but I know it is supposed to be windy like this until Saturday night.

We live on a hill and we get the winds coming off the fields across the street. Those fields are also almost even with our hill and the road runs down between. I just hope we don't get damage to the trees and things.

We are enjoying a bit of snow. No snowflakes but pellets ... I love snow!

Carole, are you getting a lot of wind? It changed from rain to snow a couple of hours ago but it's blowing sideways with the wind still going strong.

No wind so far. Pumpkin who is south west of here is enjoying a snow day! School was cancelled. They appear to be getting a lot more snow than we are. It's falling steady now! Still small pellets.

Ours never turned back to rain. We didn't get much accumulation but we have many limbs down and we lost power for quite a while last night. Was very windy today but the sun was shining.
Right now it is still cold but the wind is more like a breeze now.

We still have snow, but some places are showing grass again. So far no strong winds. They will be coming though. March is such a unpredictable month for weather. This is a month for ice storms. Hope we don't get any this year. They can cause so much damage.

Today was sunny, thank you God! I saw some snow on the hills behind Ferndale where my church is.
Friends of mine at church play in a group called the Ukalaleans, and they went South to play at another church and got into a white out and were traveling 15 miles an hour on the road there. No thank you. They got there safely.
Be careful out there.

Seems we are having another dance around with the snow tomorrow. They say minimal accumulation but cold. I just hope old mr. wind stays away this time,

Our Sunday was warmer than we expected. Today has turned cold. We are expecting some rain and snow later today. Looking forward
to some warmer weather.
Wonder how Carole is faring there? They have had a few storms go through and I think expecting another today.

We are ringing in the first day of Spring with freezing rain. I do not like that on the roads. Unfortunately a few of my daffodils pop open and now I imagine they will be brown when the ice thaws. We are forecast to get 3-6 inches by tomorrow night.

Girls, we are recovering from a deluge of heavy rain Sunday through early Tuesday! Mercy me, but Spring came in with a huge roar with heavy rain, terrifying thunder and lightening storms, tornadoes to our west a few miles, and rivers and streams maxed out in just a few hours. March in Florida can be beautiful one day, and explosive the next when the cold fronts of the north plunges downward and meets with the warm waters of the Gulf. UGH!

Oh Winnie,
I do not like Florida rainstorms so I don't envy you at all.

We had freezing rain and power outages overnight and this morning. Limbs are breaking and falling. The trees are all coated in ice which is sad for those with the buds already. Don't know how the flowers will fare. This happened to us last year too.

We are still due to get more freezing rain today and 4-6 inches of snow in the afternoon. Not a good combination on the roads.

The first picture is out my bedroom window this morning. My flower garden. The second photo are the trees over the woodshed. Normally we have to climb a ladder to reach the lowest limbs to shake when harvest the mulberries from them. I hope we don't lose any limbs. We are without power again. It has been out 5 different times since 2:00 am. They don't have a time for this one now to be restored.
