Happy happy Monday!

Well, I gues we need to go and look for some new bushes for the front of the house. No, not because of weather related. This is due to Ed, who said we needed some new bushes and he pulled OUT all of the ones we had. Now the front of the house looks bare - not a look I like! And he does this when we are leaving in less than 30 days on our 30-day cruise, so how do we get them established and able to survive while we are gone?? Oh, well, hopefully things will work themselves out. LOL!

We are taking 2 Back-2-Back cruises - the first is 16 days, leaves from Tamps, FL and goes through the Panama Canal,. up the west coast, to Seattle, WA - only 4 stops along the way. The second half is 14 days from Seattle to Alaska - with 10 stops.

Linda -- Automatic watering system. You will love the Panama Canal cruise. I did it about 10 years ago and it was fascinating.

The rain we had kind of beat down the daffodils.

I love crocus. It seem that every year, even in drought years, as soon as my daffodils bloom it rains.

Denise, I Love your daffodils and crocus from your yard. They remind me of growing up because we had he same flowers in our yard, I always looked forward to the early Crocus because they are proof that old man Winter was on the way out!!

Winnie, I didn't even know we had any crocus in the flower bed until this year. It is this first we've seen them I think. I do miss the wild violets we had in the summer at the old house. No more violetvjelly or tea! Maybe the next house if we ever move again. Lol. You never know.

Did your mother insist on letting, "fresh air," into the house in the spring? Mine did! It was Laura Ingalls Wilder who once said, "Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat." And she was right!

On nice days the doors are always open and I have the bedroom window open every night. Wider on some nights than others.
