I made it to the post office today. The expected delivery date is Friday. Yes, she said "that was a very good book". I agree! Thank you Debbie F for sharing it with us :)

Wildflowers here is another book that I know a couple of you would love to read.
It’s called The Dressmakers Dowry by Meredith Jaeger. This is her first novel and it is wonderful!
It is set in 1876 San Francisco. About two young immigrants, young girls. Their story is told through Sarah who is a journalist in present day who found their story. What she learns is both heartbreaking but their is happy news as well. As she tried to unravel this mystery to find the truth of these young girls, she is dealing with her own ghosts from her past as a young girl.
Holds your interest from beginning to end.
Who would like to read it?

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Sounds wonderful! If anyone else is interested they can go first. If you don't have any other takers after a bit you can send it to me and I'll send it to anyone who wants it next.

Heather that sounds like a fun book! I would like to read it an pass it on afterwards. I have some other books if anyone is interested too.
I will list them as soon as I get them on a list.

Are you a tattoo fan Debbie?

I heard from Darlene that she received the crawdads book.

Yes, I got a tattoo when I was 50 years old, 17 years ago, I designed it myself. Tom was out of town and he was not happy at all when he got how and saw it. I wanted a Raven on my right ankle when I was 60 and he said absolutely not, so I do not have one:-)
Here is a picture, Angel wings with a rose in the center, Tom and Kents name on each of my Angel Wings. Rose is my favorite flower and Tom and Kent are my Angels, they saved me! I love my tattoo, and it hurt so bad when I was getting it I was screaming and cussing all at the same time. But, it was worth it!

Debbie

Debbie I don’t have any tattoos, but I really like the one you designed, and it’s meaning!

I don't have any either. My husband would be like yours - not happy at all! And I'm not sure the pain would be worth it for me (at this point anyway). I like to see what others do and the meaning behind them. I like simple tattoos but I don't like when people are covered in them. Yours looks very nice and is very meaningful!
