I thought I would share with all of you the animals that visited us in our yard yesterday. It is a thrill for us to see different birds and other critters then we had in Colorado.

First our family of four robins are staying around, momma had two babies and they have flew the coup. Such lovely birds.

Then the Evening Grosbeak with vibrant yellow color that looks like velvet!

Five California Quail, wow never seen one of these before, so pretty and fast holy, moly!

And one Anna’s Hummingbird. Not sure if they like my sugar water as we have only one hummingbird with two feeders. I will keep trying.

Then a little black chipmunk, what a little cutie, but he is eating my peanuts that I have out to attract my Crows and Ravens. So we will have to figure something out.

Then the black tailed mule deer, we have a family that of three that come almost everyday.

So you see how hard it is to keep unpacking, just too much to see it our own backyard just sitting on the deck. Imagine what we would have missed if we had not stop to rest and enjoy the beautiful Oregon weather.
Can not wait to see what today will bring.
Have a Beautiful and Sunny Sunday Wildflowers.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

So excited for you, I have never seen a black chipmunk!

It would be so tempting to just sit and watch so you wouldn't miss anything! I love quail, especially little baby ones. They always look like they're having a good hair day with their cute little "bangs".

I know Debbie, I want/need to out on our deck so I do not miss anything.
But, my office/craft/sewing room faces the back yard so I can work and watch:-)

Big Hugs,

I would never get anything done! I would be sitting out on the deck with my camera just waiting LOL! We went to the field to look for parts (I'll post that story on the farm thread) and I didn't grab my camera and wouldn't you know it - there in the middle of the hay field was a big buck! I kicked myself for not bringing my camera.

I've never seen a quail in person - they look neat! I love that yellow bird. I bet he's easy to spot in the trees :)
