This is Kitty, "that's her name." As you can see she is a bit on the large size. She would be a good stand in for Garfield except she is a she. She has a "M" on her head , I guess they call this kind of tabby a "marmalade. The story is Mother Mary touched the head of this kind of kitty and since then the true Marmalades have an M on their heads. So I pretty much do what Kitty wants. Nice here today, in the 70's, yesterday was in the 90's A touch bit HOT. Nancy JO

Posted - Jun 12 2020 : 3:34:19 PM Nancy, your kitty is adorable! I do have a soft spot in my heart for chunky/fluffy animals. Growing up my pets were always on the fluffy side. Must have felt in necessary to over feed lol. I even had a goldfish named Jewels that was way to large to flush when she passed that I had to bury her in the backyard. Love those sweet animals.

Posted - Jun 12 2020 : 06:04:21 AM h, Nancy, I have a warm spot in my heart for Marmalade kitties and your Kitty is so sweet!~! My dear Bertie was a marmalade that I had for 14.5 years. He was my first dearest kitty that I got in college and he saw me through getting married and having two children. Marmalades just have the kindest and easiest temperaments!

Posted - Jun 12 2020 : 12:30:51 AM Nancy...I always wanted an Orange Marmalade Cat and I was going to name it Jabberwalkie (from a book I read as a kid). But then I found I was allergic to cats...so, I became a Dog Mama.

Posted - Jun 11 2020 : 5:47:17 PM She looks quite content. She does remind me of "The Fat Cat Sat on a Mat", a book my youngest son used to love for me to read to him when he was little. Enjoy your cool down!

Posted - Jun 11 2020 : 3:00:43 PM Nancy -- How rare to have a female orange kitty! Most orange cats are males, just like calico cats are female. It just doesn't happen very often.

Posted - Jun 11 2020 : 12:59:39 PM She is a beauty---large yes and so is my pug. Just more of them to love. I love yellow cats. We have one --- a boy. He is ornery and a bit hyper---always entertaining. What a joy cats are.
