Posted - Jun 21 2007 : 6:27:46 PM and it came out most excellent, according to my hubby. I've never had one before so took his word that mine was good.
I bought my 1st cookbook in over 20 yrs and my next project is spiced peaches. If anyone has a killer spiced peaches recipe, please let me know!!

Posted - Jun 22 2007 : 4:03:32 PM Winona! Good for you and the greatest part about it is that your DH loved it! Two thumbs up farmgirl! I use to make pies all the time...now it's time again to make my DH smile ! He loves chocolate cream and strawberry!

Posted - Jun 22 2007 : 3:47:14 PM Last night I helped my Grandma make a really excellent Lemon Meringue Pie. I would have probably used less sugar in the lemon part- but the meringue was great. I made the meringue by myself- I had never done it before. It was actually really easy and I was surprised. I thought it would be much harder than that!
