Since most of us are in touch with our inner Goddess, why not have a Goddess type exchange. It could be things to keep us in touch with our spiritual side - something to do with meditation - a CD to evoke a more serene side - an inspiration book - you name it -
If you are interested drop me an email- Looking for a cut off date of approx mid November so that we can get our special gifts to eachother between Thanksgiving and Christmas - that seems when we will need them most.

I was just thinking about discussing our own personal Goddess experiences, beliefs, etc.

The exchange/swap was great. I am not a good swap hostess but many people are.

Oh, that one was so much fun! It was so nice to be so pampered and to pamper each other. Kathy (EnchantedWoodsGirl) started that one, I haven't seen her in a while. I'd like to be in it again if one is started, providing I get my surgery date and it is over with soon.

Thank you Rebekkah (blush)I'm glad that you liked the gifts. I love shells and wanted you to have one, they are so pretty and such natural works of art. I make bath stuff from time to time and always love sharing it. Once again I'm glad you liked it all.

Wishing you joy in small things and peace in your heart

Annika-
Merry Christmas and Thank You for the OVERFLOWING basket of goodies!!! It was so special to have a farmgirl treat in the midst of our holiday morning;) I will definetly have to hide out with my bath salts, candle and Christmas book (soo many cute ideas for next year;) later today...
The shell is beautiful and I am wearing the bracelet- the stones are so smooth and cool. And the kitchen journal will be put to good use straight away as I never remember changes I make to recipes, which ones I am planning on trying and so on.
You are a sweet soul;) Rebekka

Lainey I am so glad you liked what I put together for you. No, I did not make the tarts but I love them, they are called gypsy something or other, I forget and are made by a candle lady that calls her place Nellie's Acres, check her out online.
I love reading too and have soooooo many books I hope I have a lifetime long enough to read them!
Hugs right back to you!

I'm not sure why I received a link to this thread, since I missed out on it when it first appeared, or I'd have subscribed immediately! At this point, I can exchange only high hopes, high energy and a rousing "hiiii-dee-ho" with all of you. I'll keep you all in mind during tomorrow night's Solstice observance.

We should do this again next year. It was a lovely idea :-)

Thank you so much Kathy!! I love everything you sent. It really perked me up as I've had cold for the past several days and have felt really bad. I used the tart burner last night using the blue tart that came with it. The purple ones smell wonderful, did you make them?

That garden/friendship plaque was so nice, I'm going to hang it in my home office. The pink candle was lovely too. I love books and can't wait to start reading the ones you sent! They look very interesting. I've always enjoyed reading and do more of it in the colder months. I look forward to trying all the teas you sent. I like the herbal ones too, they are calming and relaxing. That card and the stationery are so pretty too! Thank you for putting such a thoughtful package together, I truly feel pampered!

Hugs,
Lainey

Kathy, I'm glad you received the package and liked it. I hope you enjoy the Rebecca Ruth candy, it's one of my favorites. The factory/outlet store is not too far from here and when my husband and I go to Frankfort or Louisville we usually stop there and get some.

I hope that you're feeling some better now. I was sorry to hear you had strep, that can really make you feel bad. Take care of yourself and get well soon.

Hugs, Lainey

Lainey - I just want to thank you soooo much for all the wonderful goodies that you sent me - I especially needed to be cheered cause I have been really sick with strep throat. Your package will be out before then end of the week!
I adore the Flower Faeries book, they are my very favorites - Cicily Mary Barker was such a unique artist! I also love the Kinkaid photo/momento album is awesome. I have the special Christmas ornament hanging on my kitchen wreath and he fits in just perfect. I almost got into the chocolates but am controlling myself for a moment when I can savour every singe yummy bite....ummmm! I was listening to the Pure Moods CD and I love that too - I like a lot of the various kinds of music on there Tubular Bells has always been a favorite of mine, it is definitely a feel good CD! Also the Victorian card is lovely. I can't thank you enough!
Hugs across the miles

Rebekka, I'm flipped out that you received the package already! Yipppeeee!! You are so welcome and I share your sentiment completely..it was so much fun making those things, packaging those things with your beautiful face and spirit in mind! I am totally going to borrow your "blissed out" comment..I love that beyond measure....
I did indeed make the little snowmen hanging thingy..so glad it makes you happy..sometimes that "country" stuff is too much for people..it is for me sometimes but those snowmen were just too cute! The black velvet came from a vintage gown I bought 20 years ago and had torn etc.etc..the candles...those are made by "the Waxman" in Lawrence Kansas.. I have been buying candles from him and his store since 1984! I only buy candles from him and I share them with everyone I know because I think they are so amazing! I hope you enjoy them. the Goddess candle is very powerful and I KNEW you would love it... There are 3 of my dearest friends who have one also and when we need some serious energy raised, we light our Goddess candles and it always seems to help in some kind of reassuring way..
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures...kids...they are so amazing...the spectrum of emotion with children never ceases to amaze me! Speaking of kids..time for bed and stories so I best run along. I do hope you are feeling better tomorrow.. I will be sending you healing energy!! sounds like your husband has a long work day/evening in store....sigh......here's to him and his energy!
much love and laughter to you!

Julia-
I am sooo blissed out on your package....every bit of it is so beautiful. The snowmen embroidery is amazing and is hanging in my kitchen, did you make it? The family cloth napkins are so sweet and were put to use by all of us tonight (Jack's first use of a napkin and he was so proud!) I cannot believe how beautiful your kids are, Bella has the pictures in her bag!!! She says she wants to be with those children;) and also to buy her new dress- I assured her that after the holidays, when you all have time, we will come up and play!
Ahhh- the card and candles (I DO LOVE THE BIG ONE- I have a black and white vase with those dancing mama's on it that is a treasure!) are of course on my little altar along with a smudge stick from my mother in law in mt. shatsa.
Gosh- did I leave something out? You really spoiled me and brightened my day - both kids are now sick and are VERY weepy and Erik is at work for another 16 hours- boo hoo;)
LOVELOVELOVE-
