If young kids would like to cook, here's an easy, cheap and fun recipe...

Just made a batch of these and decorated them with candy sprinkles. They turned out pretty well and very tasty, my husband enjoyed them. I love the convenience of semi-homemade recipes.

We like to add in a cup of chips, raisins, craisens or nuts - depending on what mix we use. Yummy!!!

This is the recipe I use:

1 package cake mix, any flavor
2 large eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup chocolate chips, m&m's, or nuts.

Yellow cake mix with craisens! Oh heavenly! Or carrot cake with raisens. oooh! I might have to bake today.

Ooooh dude, these are incredible!!!!!! Just don't bother eatting the "cookie dough" because it really doesn't taste very good that way. (Unlike Chocolate chip cookie dough from scratch.)

My favorite two kinds are the funfetti cake-mix cookies (make these rather frequently, actually) and the Cinnamon-swirl Cake mix cookies (roll 'em in cinnamon-sugar just like snicker-doodles and you'd think they WERE!). Of course, I've also made Lemon cake mix with cream cheese frosting. Carrot cake mix with cream cheese frosting (the hubby's favorite!) and chocolate cake mix with just about every "add in" you can think of.

These are a blast, esp. when you just don't have time to bake completely from scratch but still want something kinda homemade.

I'm going to try those this weekend, I've got a yellow cake mix in the cabinet. I might use this recipe for making Christmas cookies this year. Thanks for sharing this one!
