Posted - Feb 03 2008 : 10:29:28 AM When the issue came out the recipe looked interesting but we didn't try it. We just got the following issue and all the letters to the editor raved about it-even a person who had never attempted making bread before. So Friday Jim made a batch and he's making another today. It is very very good. We used a small dutch oven we had. It's a very strange way to make bread. You bake it with the dutch oven cover on and at a very high temperature for about the same amount of time you'd usually bake bread. Here's the link http://www.motherearthnews.com/Real-Food/2007-12-01/Easy-No-Knead-Dutch-Oven-Crusty-Bread.aspx Try it you'll like it. JoAnn |

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk to blossom |

Posted - Feb 07 2008 : 11:23:46 AM I saw the letters raving about it, too, JoAnn and thought I'd try it but never got around to getting the "recipe" from the site. Thanks for that, and I will give it a shot :)
