I have been craving some outdoor living space. I _need_ to be out of the house! I know that I will be stuck in there more than I wish once School starts, and as much as I love snow sports- sometimes you just have to stay in.

So today I went garage sale-ing. I didn't have a particular plan in mind. I was more looking for books shelves and such. I went to one because it advertised that it was a daycare closing- lots of kids stuff.

I found a temporary dresser for Nora, a lovey doll toy, and some outdoor truck toys for Nora. I also found a free-standing hammock! For $8!!! Holy Cow! I asked if it folded up and could I get it in my car? Yes! I comes apart into 4 pieces! Sweet!

So when I got home I realized I had little to no shade. The tree in the back yard is great once the afternoon hits, but for morning and noon the backyard bakes. So I positioned the hammock under my clothes line, ran a cross line from the other little house to a 7 foot fence and strung up an old sheet! I also used some wire milk crates for "end" tables for lemonade and books. I covered my "tables" with pillowcases that I slit up the side to fit. Check it out!

Oh, look at how happy Sky Dog is! I'm so glad you have a wonderful outdoor space. It really does look so comfy and inviting. Fun to know how quick and rewarding your mission for a romantic outdoor space was! :) So happy that it is cooler, and I bet Nora loves it too! :)

We make a difference.

Thanks Ladies! It is perfect! It's been pretty toasty here and I just mist the sheet and it lowers the temperature by about 10 degrees for about half an hour or more. It's so nice! I have spent all afternoon out here- even running an extension cord out so I could talk with you all!
