Hi Ladies

I would like your help in decorating my new Shasta (see blog). I am going to do the interior in a denim and red bandanna print but would love to purchase things or swap things with other farmgirls like blankets, quilts or cute accesories so that I can look around my camper and feel like I am surrounded by all my farmgirl sisters...

Let me know if you want to help

Hugs
Jenn

I have half the curtains done...did them in dk blue denim with neat red stitching at the top and am going to accent them with patches of bandanna fabric and a red/beige check.
The laminate floor is in. It is a wide plank antique oak. I'm thinking of making a quilt for my bed, here is the pattern I am thinking of doing http://equilters.com/library/jeans/jeans_gallbaros.html and I'll work those two fabrics I mentioned above into it as well as some fun 40's inspired cowgirl pinup type fabrics.
I already put my maryjanes farm magazines in my cool Shasta magazine rack...lol
I'll post updated pictures on my blog on Monday, we are leaving to go camping tomorrow...maiden voyage...everyone have a nice weekend!!

Jenn, your Shasta is way cool!!!.. I can't wait to see it all done... one of my neighbors has a Shasta, & if I had a vehicle that'd pull it, I'd try to talk him out of it... maybe someday!!!..

You could make curtains from old jeans, you could get them cheap at thrift...it would be the denim affect with the ability of fade resistant and heating and cooling help too. Just an idea.

I saw some bandanas on sale at Hobby Lobby today...maybe you could pick up a few and make pillows or cover chairs and things...

Can't wait to see what you come up with...

Jenn, great looking Shasta outpost you got. It will be so much fun decorating it up. You got a name for her yet? I'll keep an eye out on things that you might like in your home away from home. Homemade things from others will be fun to have in your outpost.

Well enjoy your remodeling and pictures too : )

I'm not too worried about making the curtains. I think I may put a backing on them so they don't fade...
I just thought if I was going to be decorating I would much rather purchase things from my fellow farmgirls than from vendors I don't know. I would rather support those farmgirls with home based businesses so if any of you think you may have items in your shop that would look cute in my trailer let me know

I would just measure your window, double the length (so you get the ripple effect of curtains), sew a simple hem all around, and hang! How were they attached before? You might need to reinforce the top with some fusible interfacing if you are going to be jabbing those hook things in. :D
