Posted - Sep 05 2009 : 5:46:51 PM Hi, everyone! I'm in Virginia Beach and a member of the Colonial Farmgirls, based in Williamsburg. My son and his wife live in Richmond, so we're often on the road between here and there.

Posted - Mar 10 2009 : 5:25:30 PM Hi Christina and Gena - I'm in southwest VA, Tazewell County. I'm having trouble finding someone close to me also. Gena, there's a fiber arts guild that meets at the Independence library; perhaps that's of interest.
Also, Sheep Shearing Day at Thistle Cove Farm is 4 April 2009 and open/free to the public. Directions on my website, www.thistlecovefarm.com and more information on my blog, www.thistlecovefarm.blogspot.com.
Y'all come!

Posted - Mar 09 2009 : 03:43:17 AM Christina, I live in NC. I am having a hard time finding someone close to me also. I have never been to Richmond, but we go to the New River several times a year. Where we camp is between Independance and Galax. Have you ever been to that area?
