Oh my gosh! This is the best idea! I love little meaningful things like this. I save all of these ideas so that I can remember them when I have kids. This is one I am definitely going to do. Thanks for posting it!

You know this wouldn't be a bad idea for the quilter or maker of any stitchery to trace their own hand and stitch the name and date on it.

I thought so too, because later when they are grown you can take them apart and put the cloth in their baby book.
