Hello,
My peppers have a black spot on the stems right where the leaves come out. I have blossoms and peppers just fine. The black spots are only where the leaves come out. We did have a late frost but I covered them up. Do you think that could have caused them? Does anyone know what these are and if I should do anything? Thanks
Tina

Thanks Terri, I did dust them yesterday and it doesn't seem to be bothering the flowering or the peppers that are on them. I just have not seem anything like this before and don't know what it is. I'll keep a close eye on them.

Tina..Are they hurting the growing of the peppers...?
If they would have frosted, the leaves would more than likely be touched before the stems...
If the spots grow, or they start to die, spray for bugs, otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it....
