I have 4 horses, chickens, a white female and indigo male peacock, a turkey, 3 dogs, 6 cats, and 2 parrots. Here is a photo of my peacocks looking in the back window off the deck. They are just beautiful, curious birds. Hoping this spring she will start laying and hatch some babies. Also shown are my horses.

Tawnya, I love the horses. I had a Paint like yours. I miss her. Beautiful place. I can imagine it's beautiful when all that snow is gone.

The picture of the horses in the snow is so beautiful! And the peacocks are divine. I remember the first time my kids went to a local farm with peacocks. They jumped all over our car and the boys didn't know whether to yell at them or laugh!

thank you all! The peacocks do go out in the snow.. the chickens sit in the barn and watch them venture.. they dont do that yell, which i love, unless they get seperated. otherwise they are very quiet, calm and fun! i love watching him strut. i got them both as babies and got lucky because didnt know if male or female till they got older. i got one of both. they will produce the most beautiful babies

I love the way the snow looked coming down with the horses. I think peacocks are fun. I enjoy watching them. My mother had some in FL. thanks for sharing.

It's all good!

Hi Tawnya,

What beautiful horses you have! Love the paint, they're my weakness. The peacocks are pretty. Hubby wants to get some. That call, drives me crazy tho!! Do you ever get used to it?

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Your animals look wonderful. What do your peacocks think of the snow? Do they venture out in it?

Thank you.. Judy, they are such neat birds. So curious. If i left the backdoor open, they would be inside looking around. Are you getting babies? its best if you raise them from babies then they know you and will stay around. takes them about 3 years tho to mature to full feather. mine are just now 3.
