We are saving back a bunch of money each month and will be looking into buying an acre or two in about 3-4 years. I want a postage stamp farm of poultry and a wonderful garden and a few fruit trees...trying to simplify my life and focus on my goal to stay within our budget...we'll be pinching pennies, but it'll be so very worth it in the end!

At last I have something to work towards that mean the world to me! We will either move this mobile home of invest in another! So excited!...3-4 years, here we come!

Annika! I'm right there with you...budgeting, saving and dreaming of our very own farm/orchard someday...with apples, cider, wildflowers, bees, draft horses and children everywhere ;) We'll celebrate big the day we get there!

Annika, keep doing what you're doing and that dream will come true. I wish you all the luck you need to get there. And I love your determination.

Planning and dreaming is the best! Can keep a person quite busy! Good luck and know that your hard work will be totally worth it in the end. We are right there with you, doing the same things!

I always think of the rocks on the beach where I grew up on the bay in Rhode Island. Slowly every wave effected the rocks. At first it didn't look like anything was happening but one day I saw a difference. A couple of dollars adds up. Stay passionate and you'll get there!!!

It's all good!

You go girl! By the way you have such a beautiful name. You have an exciting and very fulfilling goal. Keeping reading and learning as you are saving for your dream.

3 or 4 years, that will go by before you know it. And as you are saving and watching your money grow, it will be that much more exciting! You'll get there and it will be all you want it to be.

It's fun to plan and dream. I have less than 3 acrres but love it, and want a few miniture horses or donkeys to keep the chickens company. It will be so worth the wait.
