I think I can safely say that the majority of us were at some time 'dragged' willingly or not so, by our mothers to sit on Santa's lap to tell him what we wanted for Christmas and get that 'famous Santa photo' of us & our encounter!.....
and so the cycle continues!
My daughter & I brought baby Soleil & Phoobit to see Santa....yep, you guessed it! one had a melt down, the other was in shock!
And we do this why? Oh that's right, cause we had it done to us!
HoHoHo & Bingle Jells!

I continue the cycle by taking my dog to see Santa, since I don't have any kids. Your little ones are just too cute.

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

I know Nini, "Rite of Passage" is the perfect phrase!!

Soleil, on the left was officially adopted this month by our daughter & son-in-love...
"Phoobit" as we call her is still a Foster with my daughter, but they are in the (long) process of trying to adopt her too! They have had her since she was 2 days old.
We use "Phoobit, or PhooBee" as we lovingly call her as we can not post her real name or any particulars about her. But she is the sweetest mellow little baby & she & her sissy LeiLei(Soleil) are so wonderful and they love each other & play and fuss with each other like 2 sisters.
I just love my 2 grandbabies......

Oh! How precious! Those are the cutest pictures! I love them, Grace! Last night we had to run to the mall - yes, HAD to, God help us - and while walking by Santa's workshop, a little boy was screaming at the top of his lungs as his Mom gently placed him on Santa's lap for a photo. You would've thought the poor little guy was being tortured, but I couldn't help chuckling to myself. My son just shook his head and said, "Why do they do it, Mom? That's just so mean!" but he laughed, too. I thought the exact same thing - the cycle continues! Poor kid! But it's like a rite of passage... you just gotta do it! Besides, that's what candy canes are for! *<|:)} We all laugh about it...eventually! Merry Christmas! - Nini

God gave us two hands... one to help ourselves, and one to help others!
