I have been away for several months and there are sisters out there that owe swaps/barters/dollars to.....please email me with the particulars of what I owe to you and I will make good on my agreements. I have spent the last several months suffering with depression and my life has slowly been unraveling. I had no idea that depression could be so debilitating or so far reaching into every corner of my life. I have sought treatment --although I have to admit that recovery has been very slow in coming and my days are still quite dark. I realize that one of the things I did in my illness was to absolutely shut out every opportunity for communication from anyone. To those I neglected - especially my penpal Sheila - I am sorry. I have so missed getting farmgirl mail and - though it will be on a much smaller scale - I am looking forward to getting back in touch with everyone.

Nice to meet you Starletta! I haven't been here long, so we've not been hooked up in a swap YET :) I was a depressed lurker for a quite a while before I tackled a swap. Being here has encouraged me to start sewing and crafting again...something I have done my whole life, something I take pride in and get great joy from. If you need help finishing up projects, sending out things you think you owe MJF sisters let me know. I'll pitch in and help you get it done. Have a lovely weekend...get some fresh air...take a bubble bath and eat chocolate :) Hugs to you.

Star, Welcome back! You don't owe me anything either. Just wanted to say, if we all lived closer we could just sit down, and have a cup of tea. and just talk, sometimes, a good conversation, is part of what is needed. My prayers are with you. Farmgirl #946 Linda

Yay, Star! So happy to see you back. *big farmgirl hugs* Wishing you the best, sister, as you can see, there are many of us here who care about you. You don't owe me anything, either, I was your secret sister last spring, hopefully my packages arrived and brightened your day a little bit. :) Again, so happy to see your name on here. Take care, friend.

Star,
Just reaching out with a HUG and good wishes and prayers. I know how you feel, going through STUFF is part of being human. Trust that each step you take to feel better is the step in the right direction. Taking a walk, reading a good book. watching a comedy .... making something with your hands and being good to yourself is a huge step. Forgive yourself for being human and know that depression is a illness like the flu or any other illness. We all have our"battles" and sometimes it feels like we may have lost the war... but you have to keep believing in yourself and those that you love. I have never had you as a swap partner so no worries in that area... but had to just reach out to someone I have never met... to tell you that life gets better and better.. but you have to choose it daily. Trust, faith and love and yes, therapy will get you there. Don't give up because life can be beautiful.
Welcome back to the Farm... enjoy the little moments.

I'm just SO happy to see you back with us, Star! I've missed you and wondered what happened! Nothing owed to me, either - I'm just super duper glad you're okay and getting better. It's not easy sometimes, I know. Life can really take you for a loop. But you'll get stronger and things will be okay, I know they will; sometimes healing just takes time, and that's okay! You can do this! Baby steps for now - lots of running later! :) I'm here for you, sister, always - just like all of our farmgirl sisters. It's okay to lean on us! You've always been there when we've needed you, too!!! You'll be in my prayers for sure! Big hugs and a happy farmgirl "homecoming" - Nini

HI Star, and welcome back!
I am sending you hugs and prayers that you are feeling better soon and realize that there are many people who care about you. We all have our moments- some longer than others. What matters is that you have sought treatment and are doing something to help yourself. I think MJF might be just what the doctor ordered! LOL.
We are here for you if you need to vent at anytime!
Smiles,

Star,
You do not owe me...but wanted to reach out to you. It is a horrible dark place to be...been there more times than I care to mention. I know leaning on the sisters here is so healing. Anytime you need a shoulder or ear I'm here..just email. Sending warm hugs to you. Little steps are huge to us who suffer with this!

Star,

I have been missing you girlfriend. It is so good to see your
name back on here. You have been missed. I thought maybe you had
moved away. Always remember, we farmsisters are here for you.
You are not alone and never will be. This is the greatest thing
about the MJF Sisterhood. By our hearts, we are joined as sisters.
We love and care about each other, because that is what sisters do.

Good to have you back. You can never leave us again. If you do, I
will chase you down and torure you with a wet noodle.:}

Star,
I have been where you have been/are . . . it is a tough, rough, hurting place to be. Just know that reaching out and drawing the ones who care about you close to you will help you pull it all together again. I've been wondering about you and I'm glad to see you back here!
You owe me nothing as well . .
I hope you'll stay in touch with the farmgirls here . . . cuz we care!
Take care of you!
