We in New England have really really had it easy this winter........can't count that Halloween snow storm-----it wasn't even November.....but that was really bad because of all the limbs that went down.

6 more weeks of winter....what winter?????????So far so good.

We are currently dealing with "Stagnant Air" as our weather reporters call it...and the smell of fire place's is pungent out here where I live.
Is there truly a perfect place to live? to hot, to cold, to wet to dry....oh well,, at least we have each other to fuss to! lol!

I am with Dorinda up here in Gainesville ,Fl. We are already having spring with the Redbud trees blooming and Azaleas starting to open up. It has been in the mid 70s or higher since last week. We are so dry up here too and the brush fires have started. I fear we are in for another long hot summer!!!

Okay so I turn on the noon news today. I really wasn't paying much attention as I skirted out to the back porch. My husband and one of our employees that came in with him saids what are they doing with the turtle and rabbit on the TV. So I walked in and turned it up. The guy on the news was dressed like the Mayor on ground hog day. He was asking the rabbit was Florida going to get any hurricanes this year. Then he put the rabbit up to his ear to get an answer. My husband and hired help cracked up laughing. Shame on those news people for picking on the ground hog. Crazy Floridian people.....

Well - from a Pennsylvania farmgirl, Phil is about the only excitement we get around here this time of year. The holidays are over, it is cold, wet and miserable. So, we find our entertainment any way we can!

Go Phil!!!!!!!

Okay Katmom that is funny. We live in central Florida supposed to be 80 here today!!!! I was laughing so hard at my son this morning because he was watching it on the news. He was just sitting there shaking his head and laughing. He said I feel sorry for those people. They don't seem to smart whispering to that ground hog. Poor little animal he's probably scared to death with all those people watching him and waiting for him to talk.......LOL Well I think we are going to have a long hot summer....We have had very little winter here this year. Love the ground hog though....
