So I got up this morning with full intentions on cleaning the kids/guest bathroom. I just could'nt get moving on it . So a little while ago i put my apron on and it made me feel like wonder women. I had that bathroom scrubbed and picked up in 20 mins. from top to bottom. Gotta love the apron better than a vitamin..LOL

Well, there are some more empowered women out there after our Farmers Market yesterday.
I sold 21 aprons, got orders for 4 and could have sold more of two different ones if I had had more than one of them! (I try, on purpose, to NOT do absolute duplicates).

Thankful for a great day . . .and I was wearing my sexy, cowgirl apron . . :D!

I love it here... if I said that to any of my friends I would get that deer in the headlights look :P

I need to make one... I have one my s-i-l made me and one from my husband's grandma that she used. But they don't have egg or wooden spoon sized pockets. I bet if I continue to poke around here I will find a faboulous pattern???

When I wear an apron I feel empowered by my mom, grandmother and great aunt since I always saw them in aprons. I miss them so much but I hope my family will look back fondly to me the same way.

God bless,

If I don't put an apron on at the beginning of the day, I kinda feel like I'm in my pjs all day and don't get nearly the amount of work done that I do when I'm "geared up!" I love my aprons and consider them an essential to get anything done around here!

It's funny, but I have found that my neighbors are very impressed when they catch me in my apron. Especially the men. They always say you must be quite a baker!

I wish I could remember which sister I bought my aprons from. They're like yours, Jonni, one brown and white gingham and other is a blue gingham print. Pockets, full length on me and I just love them. I a collection of old aprons but these two are my real work horses.

I totally agree--I have many, but my favorite is one that Janice (Miss Bee Haven) gave me a few years back. It's brown and white gingham, and is a full, halter apron. Not a lot of frills like my others, so when I put it on, I get down to business. It's my baking apron (the pockets are great) and my cleaning apron--actually, out of the 4, it's the one I pick up the most when I aim to get something done!

My mother made my aprons from my grandmothers pattern, they have both passed so I feel close to them when I wear them, I really need to make some new ones, I don't think these can last much longer. Roxanna

I couldn't agree more...I can get twice as much done in half of the time when I put on my apron. I wear the full style with a bib, across the shoulder straps and tied in the back in a big bow. Love those aprons!

Cute analogy of an apron! I have one of those aprons, also!
