I ran across this poem this morning and rather liked it - it explains the farmgirl spirit quite well, I think.

Since I don't have permission from the author to repost it, here's a link to someone who does: http://writersalmanac.publicradio.org/index.php?date=2010/09/29

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Lindsey! Thanks for sharing, this was a very good poem that really does project the independent spirit and fight of a far girl.
