All ingredients organic:

Equal parts cocoa, raw sugar or honey (use slightly less honey than sugar (3/4 as much, mild-flavored honey usually turns out better), and powdered milk.
Dash of salt
Cinnamon, Cayenne, and/or other spices to taste (I prefer Cinnamon and Cayenne, approximately 3 parts Cinnamon to 1 part Cayenne -but, really, a dash of each or either one does the trick)

Heat up water or milk and stir ingredients in to taste (I don't measure)
Whipped cream, especially freshly made, and chocolate shavings make this a full desert

This can be a little on the bitter side (more cocoa than most recipes I have come across), but sits well in our family. Probably shouldn't mix the Cinnamon/Cayenne ahead of time if you are going to pre-mix your cocoa, as some don't like it.

If powdered milk is too processed for you, leave it out, add slightly less mix when you are preparing your cocoa, but be sure to add milk or cream when you heat/serve it.
