Hi ladies!
I'm new to the forum and sisterhood, but a longtime Maryjane fan and camper daydreamer.
I'm super excited about a new series of paintings I've been working on all about Glamping!I'll share some of them soon.
I've got my fingers and toes crossed that I will some day find a vintage camper I can nab and cozy up for family weekends in North Ga.
I'm contemplating starting a sisterhood chapter here in McDonough, GA. We'll see. I'm an illustrator at coke full time and teach painting, and I illustrate books so I'm trying to decide if I can add that to my wagon or if it would be too much.
One of my favorite memories as a child was the fun tiki lights my grandma hung from her camper awning when we spent time at the lake.

I've seen people use the pop top to a coke as a hanger, but these are pretty heavy so I instead had my husband make hangers from old coat hangers cut down. :)

Heather,
I too am looking to buy a camper next year. I'm so excited to be able to start taking little trips again in my state and maybe branch out across the border one day!
I love the dragonfly out of table legs and ceiling fan blades. How do you display it or hang it? I want to try and make one myself.

Your work is stunning! I think your idea of glamping/farmgirl art is absolutely onpoint! I hope you are able to show us your work soon. It looks like you have talents beyond belief! I can tell you have a huge heart by your lovely works! I wish we were closer in proximity, but look forward to someday being able to meet you with a big hug! Keep up the fabulous creative works! Do you have any interest in the swaps? I thought you might like mail art or I host a reclaimed item swap. Your dragonflies might be a bit large for a swap, but its up the right alley. :)

I do :) I have an etsy store where I sale party printables of things like big foot paper dolls and pin the tail on the mermaid, Marie Antoinette party stuff and all that. A few gift shops sale my art and prints, and my most exciting venture... I have a series of paintings I'm submitting to possibly be sold at the Art of Disney stores !!!!! The monster book i illustrated is also available through amazon.
What do you think about me starting an all farmgirl/glamping etsy store filled with prints for the sisters? DO you think it would do ok?

Oh I love that idea! I already sale some of my art in the little town from fried green tomatoes movie :) you can eat in the whistlestop cafe and ut all is just like in the movie!
