Hey Crocheting ladies! Could you share your favorite baby blanket pattern, please? My coworker has a granddaughter due this fall and nothing I've done before is inspiring me!

if you have never heard of http://www.ravelry.com/ try it out. It is free and one of the best places for patterns.
Also i did this one last year and the girl loved it ... so much that her friends all wanted one for their babies ... here is the link to the free pattern.

I did use cotton, it was so soft!

My favorite go-to afghan pattern is chain however long you want (odd number) single crochet in second chain from hook, dc in next, sc, dc to the end. chain 1 and single crochet in double crochet, double crochet in single crochet, to end and repeat. its super easy and it so soft and bendy. :) I usually add a shell or some sort of pretty border. :D

Hugs,
Jessica
