Also i did this one last year and the girl loved it ... so much that her friends all wanted one for their babies ... here is the link to the free pattern. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/classic-baby-blanket-3 I did use cotton, it was so soft!

Posted - Jul 18 2014 : 10:07:52 PM My favorite go-to afghan pattern is chain however long you want (odd number) single crochet in second chain from hook, dc in next, sc, dc to the end. chain 1 and single crochet in double crochet, double crochet in single crochet, to end and repeat. its super easy and it so soft and bendy. :) I usually add a shell or some sort of pretty border. :D
