Farmgirl Mail arrived today from Colorado!! Thank-you CeeJay for thinking of me! I got some locally grown dried pinto beans that are regionally grown in that part of the state. Plus a recipe by CeeJay to try them out. Pinto beans are one of my favorites so I am looking forward to trying them out! CeeJay also included a few apple themed goodies and a sweet note! Thank-you CeeJay for such a wonderful surprise this afternoon!!

Surprise, Surprise to me from Colorado today!! Thank-you Sharon for your sweet note and bars of your handcrafted soap all wrapped up in a crocheted piece and old pattern! Too cute and the soaps smell wonderful. It was very thoughtful of you to send me this surprise and I appreciate it very much. Can't wait to try out those soaps!! What a fun way to wrap up a long afternoon canning some pears and doing kitchen stuff!

Of course , this photo is posting wonky. I took it landscape as suggested and it still is weird. I asked Brian at the Home Office and they can't figure it out either!

Congrats Winnie!!! Enjoy your special year. I've enjoyed getting to know you through the forum! My first swap was a Christmas ornament swap, but my second was a spring swap with you. You sent me a hat that you made and I wear it all the time. Also a dishcloth that is still setting under my angel because it was too pretty to use. You showed me that special farm girl spirit in that swap that has earned you FGOTY. I can't wait to read the article about you. Congrats!!!!
