Always looking for musical instruments for barter or purchase (depending on the price)! :) My 3 kids love music and are enjoying playing a variety of instruments so far, and would love to expand their musical collection! If you have an instrument that you're not using, would you be interested in bartering it? :)

Thanks!

:)

I have quite a few instrument: violin, 2 violas, silver flute, piano, 2 acoustic guitars.

Of those, I am interested in selling an intermediate level 15" viola if you are interested... the others I could be talked into, but am not actively looking to sell at the moment. I played them all lovingly, but the viola was my true love (which is why I have more than one.) The one I am looking to sell is in good condition, some dings to the finish, but nothing major, well loved and well played, has a beautiful deep and rich sound. I upgraded to a professional full size viola when I went to college and have no use for this one any more. What do you have to barter or what would you be willing to pay for it if you are interested in such an item?

Hi Marie -- I'm thinking that a treasure such as that is probably out of our price range :) Sounds like lots of sweet memories!

I have a Holton Farkus French Horn. I bought it when I was a senior in high school in 1979 so it is 35 years old. It was the first loan I took out. I have the original case and a special mouthpiece which is conical shape instead of a cup shape. This instrument accompanied me to high school band practices and concerts, symphony orchestra practices and concerts, band festivals, solo contests and to the South Dakota State Band and Orchestra rehearsals and concerts. Needless to say, it has been a special friend to me. It still looks and plays well, however, I don't. I would be happy to give it to someone who would appreciate it.
