Each ornament for each month will include a spool (as in a spool of thread). It can be the main part of the ornament or it can be part of the ornament. Google spool ornaments and see what pops up. This will be different and challenging and fun to make and create for 2015. Spools can be found at estate sales, craft stores, sewing drawers, thrift stores....just be looking around The January theme will be either a snowflake or red bird.
