I have been making tote bags out of plastic feed bags that my chicken feed comes in. I also have horse bags and a few pig bags. The feed bags have pretty pictures of the critters on them. I need more bags. If you feed farm animals and have bags, would you like to make a swap, barter or trade. I will make you a tote bag if you will send me five bags that I can use. You may go to www.etsy.com/shop/anniemayme to see the bags I have done. I make little felt critters to adorn each bag. Thanks. I am a new member of the sisterhood.

April, I have not been making any lately. In fact I donated the ones I had made to a local church bazaar for door prizes.
Are you needing some? If you are willing to wait until after May 18th, ( when my school is finished), I can help you.

Texasgran,

Are you still making and selling your feed sack items?

Thank you,

Marilyn,

Do you still make the tote bags? My feed bags are not fancy but I have been saving them and usually use them for big nasty clean ups. I love that they are so durable and never tear! So much better than buying large plastic garden bags. YIKES!! I've always had an aversion for bagging debris that could go into a wonderful compost pile but some things must be taken away and what better way to package it up than to reuse something I paid nothing for. I can happily report that I've been able to influence other family members to follow suit and they save their large dog food bags for "clean up" time as well. I'd love to not only send you some in exchange for one of your creations--- but would love to learn/commit to making a few myself. All of this recycle/upcycle/reuse is addicting but I need to find ways to accelerate the process. Hugs ~ Doris

Thanks Kristen, I am glad you received them. Linda, I did not want you to wait a couple of weeks so I substituted. I will be sewing the ones you sent. Kelly, I will watch for your package. Thanks

Linda, I did receive your bags. I did not find a note about which one you want as a tote. If you want to you can also look on my test shop page at the ones I have there. You might like one of them.

Hi are you still doing the swap of so many bags for a free one? The lady here is over whelmed with bags. Believe me I have bags and could send you many extras for a couple free totes.

Are you still looking for bags? Also, what about sweet feed? I know it makes the bags kind of sticky. I use a sweet feed for my cow and my horse, so I have some on hand.

Marilyn,
You are welcome! I just love my tote bags! I use them all the time at the grocery store and farmer's market. I won't be able to send anymore since we are not at the farm now. Moved on to our next adventure.
Thank you again!
