I love to watch parades but have NEVER had the desire to walk in one. My daughter is president of the 4H dog club this year, so we had to walk this year. What fun it was! Our chihuahau "marched" with another chihuahua. He was so proud and refused to be carried! He had a blast waiting for our group to go, because he was spotted by twenty brownie scouts and "worked the room" so to speak, greeting each one with wags and kisses. It was hot and I thought a long walk, but he did the WHOLE thing. He refused to be picked up and carried, like he wanted to be like the big dogs! The two chihuahuas were the biggest hit and everyone yelled for them - he was a total diva with tail wagging and a smile on his face. What a ham!

Snapped this photo afterward as we all relaxed in the shade. He drank his water and looked at me like "Fill 'er up, mama!"

He is adorable and looks quite handsome in his patriotic outfit, no wonder he was such a big hit! Glad you had a wonderful and memorable Memorial Day parade.

Thanks, Amy! Oh my goodness he is not a typical chihuahua. He is such a ham, and a such a love! He's got us wrapped around that tiny little paw!

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole
