Years ago, I read a book called Clutter's Last Stand by Don Aslett. One tip has made my life easier, (just a little but, little things add up). He suggested that you use the toilet brush to plunge the water from the bowl, then apply the cleaner and clean other things while it soaked. The cleaners are more potent on drier surfaces. Works great!
