It's time to sign up for November Mail Art

If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art under the Farmgirl Swap heading to read our guidelines. Then leave a comment on that post if you want to participate and I will contact you.

FOR NOVEMBER, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to participate. Sign-up is available through November 15th. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.

Sherry (sweettea59) has chosen this month's theme and it is Thankful. I am thankful for so many things, it might be hard to choose!

I will send an email with your partner to you on November 16th. Please send your Mail Art before November 30.

A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art.
2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)

If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email. I'm always delighted to help.

Happy Swapping!

Kristine

Mary, I would think it was the November mail Art, because of the colors and the word Thankful. That is neat.

I am terribly remiss in saying thank you to Rebecca, who sent my this lovely plaque reminding me to count my blessings. I love it, along with the other goodies you stashed inside.

HI Mary Jo - received your package - well worth the wait! I liked all the goodies, and I collect old beaters so the dish towel was especially relevant. Thanks - Happy Holidays

Thanks Portia the compliment - it seems like I am always experimenting on projects for mail art and I am always afraid they might not mail very well. We collected 2 garbage bags full of corn husks - the corn picker left really nice ones behind - usually they are shredded to bits.

Dear Mary: thank you for my mail art wall decoration and the oven mitts I really needed, every thing is cute. The card is great and I will pull it out next year too so that I can re-read it again and smile. This is my first time doing a swap like this and it is fun.

Becky, thank you so much for my adorable corn husk wreath. I just love it! How clever of you to die some of the husks to make a poinsettia for the middle. And, I like the fact that the husks came from corn on your farm. I grew up on a farm, so that was a special touch for me.

Hugs,
Portia

Cristy! AKA quiltwright got your wonderful package. I will post photos later but wanted you to know it arrived safe and sound. Can't wait to try the apricot jam and hang up your beautiful Fall themed quilted flag. So much goodness in the box. Thank you!
