I am rediscovering my love of all things Gladys Taber. Reminds me of when I grew up and what I want to get back to. I recently completed a writing course for my Graduate work and I really enjoy her style of writing. I can picture myself in her kitchen, petting Amber or out mucking around in the garden for vegetables. I am rebuying the books to enjoy, in order. Having so much fun!!!

Just recently finished re-reading Stillmeadow Road - love, love, LOVE it!

Have looked more than once for other books by Gladys on Amazon and I keep getting confused as to which one to buy next. Often I think I'm seeing another version of the book I already own but under another name?

Any recommendations for titles I should search for? Thanks so much!

Heather~ Yes, I have enjoyed some of Gladys Taber's books as well. Her life and chronicle of the years at Stillmeadow are inspiring. Did you know there is a Gladys Taber Society about the preservation of her works? They provide a newsletter for membership fees that are interesting and you get a chance to read more of her other works.
