I was doing what i could to grow as much of our food in raised beds in our backyard and support local farmers until we could get a farm of our own. Many years later, with teenagers and a wonderful new husband who shares my dream, we are in Texas on 33 acres with cattle, chickens, a large garden with plans of planting an orchard this Fall.
