I have been having a lot of fun trying something new. These "soft sculpture" designs are my first attempts. The more I learn the more I enjoy it.
Anyone else doing this?

Oh I'm excited to see the elf and reindeer! Do you sell these? I bet you could find people who are interested.

Krista thanks. It really depends on timing. Size and subject make the difference but IF I didn't have to work I can get them done in a couple days. I am working on an elf and reindeer right now. #128513;

Wow, Anne! I am speechless. These are amazing pieces of work. You do such a wonderful job! I really like the added scenery in your last picture. How long do these take you to make?

Wow! Those are beautiful pieces Annie. Keep the pictures coming everyone.

By the way, my Windy Pines cousin, Michele's, animals are beautiful and not crude at all. She is incredibly talented, I love her felted sheep the most!

There are a lot of videos on!one. Not all do things in the style I want to create. Just Google needle felting videos and you will be inundated.
Find the style you like. I have never tried a kit. Just got excited about the possibilities and bought roving and needles to see what would happen.

I do artwork but this is an easy way for me to try soft sculpture.

Really fun!

Wow, Anne, those are gorgeous! I have no idea what Needle Felting is all about, but I am guessing you did those right as they look so life like.

Ok... to say I am in awe is an understatement! !!
The 2st and only attempt I made at needle felting was with the barbed needle, felt and foam....
I folowed the pattern which was just a simple daisy flower patten ...it came out so-so....
But I had no idea one could create these lovely works as you gals have.... just Awesome!

beautiful Annie i have needle felted, but mine ends up being much more crude. I have a few animals to finish in a kit i was given. Any suggestions for making them look more realistic like you do?
