I went to Tractor Supply today to get food and treats for my old chickens and this year batch. They still had peeps there. I ended up with 6 Buff Orpingtons

I have one rooster, nine hens two and older, 12 3 month olds that should lay in July and now these 6 that are straight runs so I may have roosters in them, hope not. The last six will lay in November. My three month olds had been going in the front door of the coop until last night. I like to never got them in the coop with the old biddies. I was a little worried but everyone was okay this morning.

How cute! How many do you have now? I can't wait until we are ready for some of our own. Hopefully by next year!
