So, I have shown aprons that I have repurposed from pillowcases... well whilst snooping around I found a sweet lonely kitchen cafe' curtain... well I just had to bring it home,,,,
I tall glass of iced tea, a couple of macaroon cookies latter,,, and Voila',,, a sweet apron! (a gal needs her sustenance)

Oh My Stars,,, talk about easy peasy...
All I hade to do was cut off 3 pieces 1/2 up,, 2 pc for the ties and the last pc for the waist... I even had a small scrap pc to make into a little pocket to tuck a hankie in.
The sides and hem were already done,, all I did was sew the ties and attach the waist... like I said, super easy peasy.

I decopaged some cloth pins for fun too!

I stopped by the little SPCA Thrift (were I donated the apron) and was told the apron was so desired by a patron, even tho the apron had a 'NFS' tag on it (not for sale) that the patron offered $10 for the apron... so they sold it to her.... I am tickeled pink that someone appreciated it...
I volunteered to make a few more of the cafe curtain aprons so they told me to pick out which ever cafe curtains I wanted to use...
guess what I will be doing this week...along with sewing some mini aprons...

Grace, that means you are never bored! Me either! When people say they are, I know they don't have that special Room where all the next treasures appear! LOL! You are the crafting Queen! Keep on crafting on!

Krista, I do have fun,,,
Dar,, I usually have 2-3 projects going at any one time,,,
right now I am making kitchen curtains for a neighbor friend,, as well as working on yet another Jean Butt purse,,, (all Beth's fault!)and finishing up 4 more UFO aprons... oh and I have a few more lavender sachet pillows to finish...

If only I didn't have to cook, clean and pay bills,,, I would have more time to play in my sewing room...

Grace, you amaze me! The things you think up! I would never guess it was an out kitchen curtain. The design is perfect for summer.

Actually, the only place that looks like a tornado went through is my sewing/craft room! LOL! The more I get it organized, some sisters get me hooked on another great idea and I start rooting for needed supplies! Yikes! Keep the projects coming, I like my disorganized room! HeeHee!

Great idea Grace! Now I'll be looking at my curtains in a different way! You have to stop enticing me with all these projects! I won't have time to clean anymore! What a shame! LOL!

oh, and I could have embellished it with bits-o-trims and ric rak,, but chose to leave this just simple and sweet.
