I have been getting quite a few emails claiming to be from Amazon, Apple, and Pay Pal. I called Apple yesterday and the operative I spoke to said not to open any attachments or click on the realistic looking links that these emails send. They are all phishing attempts to get passwords and personal information.

These emails really look official, so please always call and speak to a real person at these companies before you do anything else. It is worth sitting on hold for a long time to confirm whether or not they are legit!

It's so sad to see people trying to harm others like this. I agree, Grace. People need to play nice. It's a no wonder the trust level in this world is diminishing. This is why I just delete any email coming from someone I don't know and even from companies offering deals. If I delete them I will have a less chance of buying something I don't need!

I haven't gotten any claiming to be from Amazon, but LOTS saying they are from Paypal. I forward them to this email address: spoof@paypal.com
and let them deal with them.

I get so weary of all of this fraudulent activity . . . spam emails, scam phone calls, etc. It's so AGGRAVATING!!
