Good morning, ladies. It's time to start thinking about fall. The theme for this swap will be: THANKSGIVING or GIVE THANKS.

This is the season where we pause and remember all we have to be thankful for: family, friends, food on our table, and a country where we have so many freedoms.

You all are so creative! Ihope you have fun with this swap... and perhaps add a tuck in with Marilyn's card for the great job she has been doing moderating this swap.
And most of all...have fun!!

Sign up starts now. Sign up will close on Saturday, October 21.
Send out cards by by end of the month.

Ok... Let's start creating !!

Mary Duffel

This is the apology I've been dreading the most, I believe. I have so many unopened cards and I have not yet sent mine out and I feel I missed the boat. If you don't mind getting a giving thanks card in early December, then, of course, I will do so.

I have been in the hospital and dealing with seizures, confusion, and havings some major personal issues all with trying to keep my commitments. I've failed :(, I'm sorry!

It is my hope to set aside tomorrow (the rest of this afternoon is booked with doctors appts.) to brew a cup of tea, sit down, and enjoy my cards, one by one. Thank you all in advance for your well wishes this Thanksgiving. I hope everyone had a wonderful month and holiday. I'm hoping to be back in the swing of things slowly.

Thanks Dianna,
I also received your cute little turkey "give thanks" card. Loved the variety of papers you
used for the tail feathers too.
So much fun to open a new card every few days and see all the creative thoughts everyone
has put into their individual cards.

I received a cute turkey gobbler card from Dianna. Thank you!
I also received a card with a pretty white pumpkin from Denise! Thank you. Looking at that creamy white pumpkin reminded me that just a few years ago we had never seen white, or green pumpkins or those with barnacles or deep grooves in Texas.

The Omegas are good heart support too. Helps reduce inflammation..also add turmeric to some of your dishes.
Inflammation increases with the following: white baked goods , sugar and sweetners, and unhealthy carbs...

My father in law had beginnings arthritis and some other problem and was sent to this town to work where Pritikin was using as a volunteer groups to see how his food plan affected their health. The Protican food plan proved effective.. he never had a problem with arthritis again. He swore by the diets. My hubby was almost complete vegetarian when he was a canoe and kayak racer. And yes.. he won most of them....

Dianna, did you get yours at the health food store???
I will certainly get some. I'm so happy that you are having no pain. God is so good. Don't you love how he uses others to help us out. Today you are a blessing to us for sure. Thank you for sharing.

Marilyn and Connie I have to share something with you and maybe others will benefit as well! I was diagnosed with RA last year after many years of working in the dental field and gradually losing my grip on things! My bones hurt so bad but I kept working because they say to keep moving or it gets worse! Our dog has an page I-arthritis disease and recently the vet recommended a 3,6,9 omega for his inflammation. I decided to take it as well and I have had NO JOINT OR bone pain! Its incredible!!! I won't stop because I know it will come back worse!! Look into it because I really think it will help you both!! Hugs
