Would anyone be interested in a seed swap? I just went through my stash and found that I really have too many of some varieties! Mostly I have veggies. Most are from 2015, though they have been kept in a deep freeze and I do have newer ones. I haven't noticed any decline in germination so far.

Edited to say:

I have several varieties of heirloom tomatoes, green beans, sugar snap peas, green peas, sweet basil, cotton, squash/zucchini, and lots more!

Any takers?

I would love some hollyhocks, French marigolds, your favorite veggies/herbs, and really anything fun! Not picky at all :D

Ok I will start mine early then. Sounds perfect, thank you. I am 30 miles north of SA.

Kelly, I started mine a little early. I started them when I started my warm weather plants ('maters, peppers, melons, etc). They transplanted just fine, but I imagine they would be fine with direct seeding. I'd think around April 15th for my zone (8). I am trying to remember where Pipe Creek is, though! So if you are closer to D/FW, I'd think May 1st or so for direct. :D

Also quick question. Do you direct seed them or start early in greenhouse and transplant out yours?

Swapping seeds is a great idea. I ordered 2018 seeds from Botanical Interests and they sent a free pkg of Mesclun lettuce which I don't want. No GMOs and untreated.

I don't want to swap so the first FarmGirl to e-mail me with her snail address I will mail it to her.
