11/30/17: Mailing address list was emailed to all of you, so you can start mailing out. DEADLINE: December 7th.
If you didn't receive your list, look in your spam folder first and then let me know if you can't find it anywhere.
THANKS MUCH!
CJ

11/26/17: Signups for this swap are now closed.
SWAPPERS: There is a total of NINE swappers signed up, which would include yourself. You will need to make EIGHT cards to send out.
I'll get the mailing list emailed to you in the next couple of days.
Thanks much!
CJ

Hi Farmgirls,
Several of us have had a lot of fun with the annual POSTCARD swap each summer for several years and last Christmas some of the participants had requested that we do a Christmas Postcard swap using recycled Christmas cards. I thought we'd try one again this year.

So, the idea is to make your postcards from old Christmas cards, following the USPS guidelines for size. At least 3 1/2 x 5 inches and no larger than 4 1/4 x 6 inches. You can finish them, embellish them in any manner you like. SUGGESTION: If you embellish, I would suggest mailing them in an envelope.

Because it is for Christmas and we all get pretty busy this will be *limited to TWELVE postcard swappers*. That is so that you'll not be too overwhelmed with making the postcards, as you will send ONE POSTCARD TO EACH PARTICIPANT.

-

- SIGNUPS are NOW OPEN, will close on NOVEMBER 26th.
- PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR:
- "Real" name
- forum name
- mailing address
- email address

I will compile a mailing list and email it to all of you.

MAILOUT DEADLINE IS: DECEMBER 7th. Start now so you'll be ready BEFORE the deadline.

*SPECIAL NOTE: Being able to make the cards and mail to ALL participants is important for swap follow through.

Let's send each other some Christmas cheer!
CJ

Today I received Karla's recycled post card. I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived with all sorts of little Christmas trinkets glued to the card! How on earth did they survive our postal system??? I love it! Thank you!
Karla, what kind of glue did you use? I am amazed!!!

Thank you Linda O. for your cute snowman & Christmas tree postcard. Love the scalloped
edges!

Thanks also to Beverly for her pretty Christmas tree postcard and festive holiday cancellation
mark with Santa in his sleigh being pulled by reindeer over the tops of trees. Louisville,
Kentucky did a great job on that.

Love all the special little details and ideas everyone has come up with for this recycled
Christmas card postcard idea, thanks again CJ for bringing it to us to share.

I've decided I like this recycled postcard idea, so I've been using some others to send as greetings to some of our friends and family. Probably will do the same next year!!
