Posted - Nov 30 2017 : 12:57:36 PM Tomorrow my Alaskan Malamute will be going in for surgery to remove a cyst from her head. When we first noticed it and took her in the doctor decided that he would leave it on and watch for changes or growth. Due to age and health she may not do well with with surgery. Since then her cyst has grown massively and has begun to bleed. The doctor feels it's worth the risk to remove it now. I'm hoping she will be okay and that this surgery will finally be able to help her feel better. Please keep my baby girl in your thoughts!

Posted - Dec 08 2017 : 12:05:33 PM It's so funny and adorable to see how jealous they get. My moms dog is like that with me. I have to greet her first when I go over or I'm in trouble! Hopefully she doesn't knock you to the ground though.

Posted - Dec 07 2017 : 8:50:03 PM Hi Krista. I get that on purpose thing. My Shylo lets me know in several ways if I have displeased her, mostly by talking back at me.
The other day I came home from work and greeted Daddy first. While I was greeting Daddy she came through between my knees and then told me off. I almost fell because Shylo is no Pomeranian or chiuaua. She is at least 80lbs of oneriness.

Posted - Dec 04 2017 : 12:42:31 PM She has done very well over the weekend but has hated having her cone on. She runs into everything! Including me! And somethings I think she rams into me on purpose! But her head is healing nicely and she goes back next week to have her stitches out.

Posted - Dec 01 2017 : 12:37:37 PM She's now out of surgery and the doctor says she is doing well. He tried just using a block at first, but she wouldn't hold still long enough for him to do anything so he had to put her under. I'm so glad everything went well and I can bring my baby home at 4 tonight.
