On our 3-day motorhome trip to Oklahoma I just HAD to stop in several antique malls/shops. Here are my two super wonderful finds.

In a shop in Pawhuska, OK, I found an electric 1948 Singer 128, in perfect condition, with wooden rounded-top case. It has attachments, the bobbin case, a bobbin, and the key. A receipt inside showed that it had been serviced - I couldn't read the date. When we got back to the motorhome I plugged it in, stitched on a folded paper towel to test it, and it runs perfectly! Price? $10.00!!!

In an antique mall in Madill, OK, I found the most beautiful hand crocheted granny square skirt. Very nicely done with approximately 3" squares. I tried it on over my jeans and it FIT! So I had to get it. Price was $20.00, but the entire booth was 50% off, so I got it for $10.00!!! And - there was another skirt just like it. It was too small for me, but I bought it, too. Couldn't beat the price! A friend is going to try it on and buy it if it fits. Here is a picture.

So - how did I do? I think I got great deals!

Linda, nice find for $10! Just make it's clean and lubricated.
