According to my sister Yesterday, I drove 5 hours round trip to buy 3 adolescent bantams. I got 2 hens and 1 rooster, all different colors. I told her it was just a Texas day trip, no big deal. She said definitely chicken crazy woman.

I love chickens too. We have driven a lot of places to pick up chickens over the years. It is always fun to meet new chicken friends. The ones I have now are so tame that I can pet them on their backs and pick them up. I really enjoy their egg laying parties and all their chicken talk as they lay their eggs. There is nothing wrong with being a crazy chicken woman. They are delightful. |

Kathryn I can't think of a better reason to drive that distance than cute feisty bantams. Love to watch them strut their stuff.
