Does anyone have any tips for growing sedums? I have read books and watched videos and no matter what I do they still die or look horrible. Maybe someone with some hands on experience could give me some tips. How often to water, best light, best soil mix, etc.

Hi Barbara, the only sedums I have grown are hen n/ chickens in containers with so-so results. Check out the Garden Gate forum http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=10 - there are many avid gardeners that may be able to help you. I would like to know what they have to say too.

I think I water correctly but it's our Texas extreme temperatures that gets them 100+ in the summer and single digits in the winter.
