looks like 23 white chain stitches and 27 blue chain stitches..
and maybe a Half double crochet for the body.. with the widest part at 14 stitches..
I am not a crocheter,, but thank goodness for 'Lion' brand yarns free print out in uber easy diagram for crochet challenged peeps like me! heeheehee!

When I taught crochet to grade school kids, I taught them how to make t-shirts into continuous strips and got them the BIG crochet hooks to work with. The boys just loved the big hooks.

I counted about 14 stitches across at the widest part. When the pattern is written, Debbie, send it to me for an independent test. I've always wanted to be a pattern tester.

Grace, from what I see sitting on top of the pot, it looks very nice.

Grace, that little camper is adorable! I am going to see if I can figure it out when I get home this week to my crochet hooks! If I could enlarge the picture a little, I might be able to see what stitches they used. I love your rag rug! I've been wanting to try one for years. I think it would be easier than braiding one? But I'm not sure...I've never tried either.

I agree! Go for it! And then let us know how it goes. That's how I learn all my new stitches! I'm better with visuals rather than written instructions.

That shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. My mother could have done it. she was good at taking something I found in a picture and making me some. Lol

Grace, I have that very same glamper granny square saved on my Pinterest! I found it about a year ago but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I would invite you over and teach you if we lived closer! If you ever take a trip this way let me know!
