So after a year of searching and dreaming, Gidget the Glamper is finally getting her awning today! The original one she had I never saw...the owners before me drove off and knocked it off, leaving it, ala the movie “RV”, lol.
We ordered one last year. It was very expensive but we wanted it for a vintage camper rally. The company “forgot” to put our order in and refunded our money. Still, we were disappointed.
Anyway, ordered one after finally deciding on one. Half the price of the one last year. Keeping my fingers crossed it fits her!!!
After that, the vintage restoration is pretty complete! We still have to fix a few little things but nothing too much.
Any advice or pointers for awnings - installation, care, etc.? Greatly appreciate your advice if you have any.

Nicole,, what type of Awning?? the pole type? or is attached to your trailer with extending arms?
I know a lot of my gal~pals, hang flower garland,, &/or mini lights (like the ones used for Christmas... so people walking around won't walk into the poles or arms.. fyi,, that would be me.. I am such a klutz!
