Does anyone else think our secret Santa rounds flew by. Must be the holiday season. This is the week to mail your reveal gift, if you haven't already. I am hoping they will all be received by next Monday, Christmas Eve.

I have been sending out secret Santa info, but have had a few failure to send notices so have had to send them through the forum. I am still waiting for information from a few, hopefully they will get back to me soon. If you don't recieve an email from me by tomorrow, please let me know and I will resend.

Please post on this page when you recieve correspondence from your secret Santa.

Have fun everyone and let's get those elves busy.

Do any of you love the mystery of a secret Santa as much as I do?
I thought it would be fun to do a farmgirl secret Santa. This will go from November 15th until a reveal gift the week of Christmas. You will need to send your farmgirl a card, note or something small to let them know someone is thinking of them at least once a week. DO NOT sign you correspondence, for return address use Mary Janes Farm. The week before Christmas please send your farmgirl a small wrapped gift revealing who has been putting a smile in there mailbox each week. I know postage is getting more expensive, but we can all get creative and put something in a card (I am thinking stamps, a few gift tags, a favorite holiday recipe etc.) just a little something to make a farm girl feel special.

You will not be receiving from the same farmgirl you are sending too. Please answer the following questions and email me the answers. I will pass them on to your secret Santa.

1. Forum name
2. Name and mailing address
3. Hobbies
4. Favorite color.
5. Favorite decorating style.
6. Favorite holiday
7. A small paragraph introducing you to your secret Santa.

Sign-up will go until November 10th. I will try to have a partner emailed to each of you by November 12. Please have your first card in the mail by November 15th. To say hello and kick off our fun. I hope lots off farm girls want to join and spread a little holiday cheer.

Jill, so happy you received your package before Christmas. I was being to worry you would not because of the postal strike. This was a very fun one. I loved the hunt to find things to send. You were very fun to shop for, it was fun being your Secret Santa. Enjoy.

Jill,
I received your Secret Santa reveal box yesterday.
You have always sent unique gifrs to me.
I had one of the teas last night. I love the gardening box.
I have two horse water troughs that i plant herbs in
every spring. These twines and markers will be useful.
I'm always planting new herbs and forgetting the names.
Cant wait to find a use for that cute box.
Thank you so much.
Hugs

I received the reveal package from Kristina a few days ago and opened it on Christmas Day.

I am very happy to have received the scone mix. I will make them very soon. The book looks very interesting. I will have to read the others in the series first. Unfortunately, the lovely plate arrived broken. Not to worry. I can use the pieces when I take the class on mosaics. There is no need for a replacement.

Thank you for all the cards and small gifts. This year has been very difficult for me and I am so glad I had this to look forward to.

Carol, it is so sweet that you were able to take care of the female robin and get her on her way and back to her family. To be able to hold a Cardinal bird must have been awesome. We are originally from St. Louis, MO and the cardinal is our state bird so we love them and we miss them living here in Colorado Thank you so much for sharing your story.

Birds often are stunned after hitting into something. The best thing to do is to put them into a safe, quiet place for them to recover.

I received my reveal gift yesterday…on Sunday. How crazy is that? Anyhow, thank you Kelly for the towels, pens, and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is simply yummy. The towels reminded me of something that happened a week or two ago that I wanted to share. I do hope that it is ok to do so in this forum. Anyhow… How many people can say they got to hold a wild bird? A female cardinal flew into one of my windows and fell to the ground. I saved her from the dogs and cat. I held her for about 15 minutes before she flew a short distance to perch elsewhere. In about another 15 minutes, she flew into a tree. It was then that I knew she would be ok. Some people believe cardinals are signs that someone in the afterlife is near. For me, I’d like to think that my Mom or Grandma paid me a visit just before Christmas. Happy Holidays.

Patsy, this is a bit mysterious. I’m your secret Santa, but that is not a parcel that I sent. Are you doing another swap? Or did someone misaddress your package? I had hoped you would get your reveal package by now. Perhaps it will arrive on Monday.

I received my Surprise Santa box a couple of days sgo.
So many goodies. The candy is my favorite. The box of tea
has the the flavors I like. The Country peach was good the other night.
Never had Figgy Pops before. Loved them. Pretty Snowman
ornament. The handmade hot pad is beautiful.
Thank you so much Secret Santa. You have been an awsome Secret Santa.
I still don't who you are. The return address name was White

British Columbia.
Who are you? An elf?

Heather--

I am glad you enjoyed the package. I was a bit worried about the candle and salt and pepper shakers despite my packaging. Whew! It was such fun putting it together. I'll keep you posted the next time we are in your area. Indeed, it is a small world! Merry Christmas!

Hi Julie,

I have only received 2 emails from you, both at the very start. If you have sent more, I have not received them. I really enjoyed doing this!!

I received my reveal package. Thank you so much Carol!! I love everything and had so much fun doing this.

How did you know I needed a Christmas hat? I still have a couple Christmas gifts to finish but I already have plans for the yarn and fabric as soon as they're finished. I'm excited to have a book to read on the 26th to help extend Christmas. The basket goes great with my santa hat and boot collection. I love the ornaments, cow salt and pepper shakers, and candle as well. I also have many pages marked in the recipe magazine. Mint chocolate pancakes - sounds like a new favorite to me!!! And the best surprise of all is that Carol (who lives 2 states away) has a daughter that lives in my town!!! It is a small world! I'd love to meet some day when you're up here. This was the perfect Christmas package Carol. Thank you again so much!!

Sherry, thank you so much for being my Secret Santa. Your package just came and I'm overwhelmed. You have been so generous! I love it all. The chocolates are gone already, needless to say. I love the fabrics and will have fun planning projects for them. I love having little scissors in each project bag that I have on the go. The gardening gloves will definitely come in handy. The socks are great too, as my husband always says, you can never have too many socks. I've gotten back into making cards recently so the scrap booking paper will come in very handy. I love the garland and the wooden label (at least that's what I will use it for). The cookies will come in very handy when we have our big family gathering on Boxing Day. The little clothespins are so cute. I love the lists and paper tags as well. The honey will be perfect for my morning tea. Thank you so much for my wonderful package and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
