People---my husband just got hurt sawing down a big tee in our road from the ice storm here in WV and the east. He hurt his leg nd cut his head and fractured two ribs so he cannot go to work. He got off so lucky---I was sure he was crushed. He is depressed as he was always so active and strong. We will be alright---but need prayers for these hard days.

Wonderful news, Barbara!!! I am happy to hear the good news that is happening on several fronts. Enjoy hubby's recovery by the lights of the tree and something delicious and warm to drink. I am guessing that it is pretty cold up where you live so some hot tea or chocolate might be a perfect solution.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but inside it's delightful. And since I've no where to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

So glad to hear this Barbara but one thing. You are not an idiot. You are an awesome angel and an asset to this site. So glad to hear your hubby healed so fast. We serve an awesome God!

Thanks ladies for all your prayers---they have truly gave me hope. Hubby can return to work on fifth of January and he is doing great. This has proved a blessing as he found out he had a few health problems. He wouldn't go to the doctor for years but I urged him---this made him. And I wrecked our old truck in the summer and that was a blessing as it gave us money for a better vehicle. I tell you children as my old neighbor said God takes care of little children and idiots---of which I have always been both---LOL. Doing so well and thank you for the prayers.

Thank all you wonderful ladies for your prayers and kind words. I was feeling overwhelmed and wore out and when I saw all these posts I just perked up. Yesterday I got out two Christmas trees to decorate and will start decorating. I just felt uplifted by these posts. Today my husband finally got to see a specialist and he has a broken shoulder. He can't work for six weeks. We will consider the gift of him being alive our best Christmas gift ever. This Christmas we will truly count our blessings. Merry Christmas to all of you dear, kind, wonderful and interesting ladies. This has all helped me so much.

This is awful news, but so grateful he wasn't crushed. Recovery does take time. I pray you both can find calm things to do during this rough patch.
